Abbreviations and Crochet terms

I use US terminology for all of my patterns. Below is a table with conversions to UK terms.

Single Crochet Foundation

I always hated how my 'flat' projects looked at the foundation chain edge. Then, while working on a project I discovered the single crochet foundation. There is also a HDC foundation that works from the same principle.
